Our History
Alicja Truesdale and Dee Morrison joined forces in 2018 to form Truesdale Morrison Design. The company started out as a staging and a custom window treatment company. In 2021 Dee developed the Tea Over Interiors podcast. This gave the dynamic design duo an outlet to reflect and discuss their thoughts on holistic design and living in a home environment that supports the individual on a spiritual and emotional level.
The pair still works on select high-end residential projects. These projects are selected for their potential to make an everlasting change in the lives of their client’s mental and physical well-being. They utilize sustainable design practices to manifest a feeling of holistic healing and positive energy within the space.
Alicja is a trained Interior Design Architect with a B.A. Degree from Moore College of Art & Design. For many years she operated a successful window treatment business as well as a bakery. All the while creating luxurious spaces for her clients to relax after a long day. Alicja enjoys sharing her delicious baked goods and entertaining guests as she believes that communing with friends and loved ones is the way to a life well-lived.
Dee is a trained Interior Designer with a B.A. in Psychology and B.S. in Interior Design. Dee uses her psychology training to transform clients’ homes that struggle with organization and decluttering issues. Dee utilizes her love of spatial planning and aesthetic transformation to design homes that feel light, clean, and easy to care for. She educates her clients on ways to free themselves from societal pressures of what a home should be and develop their own definition. Download her free guide here to learn more.
